This motto supported us to deliver nothing but excellence in the development of beautiful flower varieties and tasty vegetables. Sakata Seed India Pvt Ltd. was established in 2008 in Gurgaon, Haryana. With the inspiration of taking the thought forward, we established an R&D centre in Bengaluru, Karnataka in 2010.

At Sakata Seed India Pvt Ltd, we aspire to contribute to society’s happiness by providing high-quality vegetable and flower seeds. We at Sakata Seed India Pvt. Ltd. cater to a range of high-quality seeds by conducting various Kinds of rigorous tests. Globally, Sakata is professionally engaged in plant genetic research, production, development and distribution of vegetable and flower seeds, since its inception in 1913 in Japan. Sakata network is widely spread in more than 135 countries dealing in 900 plus products of more than 50 crops.

In India, the journey of Sakata Seed India Pvt. Ltd. Started in 2003 with the opening of a liaison office and subsequently established Sakata Seed India Pvt Ltd.(A 100% subsidiary of Sakata Seed Corporation, Yokohama Japan) in May 2008 with a corporate office in Gurgaon, Haryana. With this establishment, Sakata started its Indian Operations by expanding its Sales and Marketing network, Production centre, Breeding programs on key crops, Supply Chain Operations and Quality Assurance facilities with strong support from the Sakata global family.

Products of Sakata, Specially Beet Roots, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Carrot, Tomato, Hot pepper, Okra, Watermelon & Gourds have been the most popular among the Indian farming community, as these products exceed grower’s expectations and uplift their incomes and livelihood.

In line with our constant endeavour to provide you with innovative products and the best services, we are pleased to inform you that we have integrated Product Development and Sales & Marketing Team and created SMPD Team for better deliverables.
