Sakata Seed India Pvt. Ltd. holds a variety of activities in conjunction with World Day Against Child Labour (June 12th) set by the International Labour Organization (ILO). These activities are large-scale meetings and outdoor plays in major villages that produce seeds for Sakata. The meetings consisted of lectures on child labour rules and health safety environment procedures to producers and the general public. Topics included how children must be given a minimum level of education and how other people are responsible for encouraging children to obtain an education.
