Radish

Vegetables that
nourish the body

Radishes are annual, cool-season crops categorised into brassicaceous crops. These are grown for their swollen tap roots that can be globular, tapering, or cylindrical. Radishes are a good source of antioxidants like catechin, pyrogallol, vanillic acid, and other phenolic compounds. These root vegetables also have a good amount of vitamin C, which acts as an antioxidant that protects our cells from damage.
