Held at Wilson Garden Club on April 18–19, 2026, the festival, now in its third successful year, has evolved into a signature industry platform bringing together growers, researchers, floral artists, trade partners, and enthusiasts in a dynamic celebration of innovation, creativity, and excellence.

At the heart of the festival lies Lisianthus, a flower that is redefining the essence of premium floriculture in India. With its refined elegance, vibrant spectrum of colours, and exceptional post-harvest longevity both in markets and in vases, it stands as a symbol of enduring beauty and quality.

More than just a flower, Lisianthus represents a new benchmark for high value floriculture, inspiring growers, designers, and consumers alike. With its strong premium appeal and remarkable versatility, it is unlocking new possibilities across décor, events, and gifting, making it one of the most promising and exciting flowers shaping the future of the industry in India.

The inauguration ceremony commenced with a traditional lamp lighting and ribbon cutting, symbolizing a new chapter in floriculture advancement. The event was graced by distinguished dignitaries and industry leaders, including Sakata India and Japan leadership teams, along with:

The festival featured a rich and engaging agenda, including multiple live floral demonstrations by expert florists. A key highlight was a technical seminar on soil sterilization, delivered by the Sakata Japan team, fostering knowledge exchange on advanced cultivation practices and global best standards.

Both Saturday and Sunday of the festival witnessed an enthusiastic participation of over 250 attendees, reflecting strong industry interest and engagement. The second day focused on interactive grower and customer engagements, enabling meaningful discussions, technical guidance, and deeper market connections facilitated by Sakata’s flower team. 

The welcome address set the tone for the festival with a strong emphasis on innovation, collaboration, and market growth. Speaking on the occasion, Sakata Seed India reiterated its commitment to world class genetics, continuous innovation, and sustainable agricultural practices.
